Buah Pare (Bitter Melon) |
1. Of salt. After pare cleaned, remove the white membrane that is in it. Then, pare thinly sliced, and squeezed by using salt. Allow to pare it limp. Wash with hot water.
2. Boiled. To reduce the bitter taste of bitter melon, bitter melon boiled briefly in salt water for several minutes until slightly tender pare.
3. Granulated sugar. Clean pare, then thinly sliced and squeezed with a mixture of sugar and salt until pare limp. Let stand until juicy, then wash thoroughly.
